Oran B. Canada, 68 of Sterling passed away Monday, November 29, 2021, in Greeley, Colorado. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday, December 3 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church with Reverend James R. Nash officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Oran was born on October 16, 1953, in Texas to Mary (Ussery) Dermer. He attended and graduated from Sterling High School and Northeastern Junior College. He married Cheryl Bohler on February 21, 1976, and together they had Oran Canada Jr. They were married for 10 years. He worked in the oil field for many years and later owned and operated C & C Tree Service until his death. Oran loved his Harley Davidson, loved his friends, and tinkering in his shop.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Elmer and Mary Dermer; brother Charlie Streety, and special friend Veronica Gonzales.

Oran is survived by his girlfriend Terry Decker; sons Oran Canada Jr. and Sid (Christi) Fourhorn; brother Robbie G. "Pete" (Rose Malon) Streety; granddaughter Courtney Canada; aunts, uncles, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, "adopted" children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends that were family.
