1933 - 2008
Norval W. Moore, 74, of Iliff, died June 26, 2008, in Iliff. There was cremation. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 30, at Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. LeeRoy Pickering officiating.
Mr. Moore was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Fort Morgan to William H. and Evelyn C. (Nichols) Moore.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
On May 17, 1958, he married Marge Knox in Raton, N.M.
He worked for Fred Schmidt T.V. and Appliance in Denver. In 2001, he moved from Dacono to Iliff and worked at Sterling Correctional Facility, North Sterling Reservoir and Mr. D's Ace Hardware over the last six years.
Mr. Moore was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Sterling. He also was a member and past commander of VFW Post. No. 1 in Denver.
He is survived by his wife, Marge Moore of Iliff; sisters, Frances Eastwood of Commerce City and Dotty Glee Kellison of Chillicothe, Mo.; and brother, William F. Moore of Casper, Wyo.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Wanda Price.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
