Nancy Lee Nix, 73 of Sterling passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Sterling Living Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Nancy was born March 4, 1945 in Aitkin, Minnesota to Jessie T. and Mabel Marie (Erickson) Ware. She married William Charles Nix on June 28, 1968 in Aitkin, Minnesota. She worked as a registered nurse in a nursing home for many years. Nancy enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, listening to Gospel music, walking and playing wallyball. She was a member of the Sterling Foursquare Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Mabel.

Nancy is survived by her husband William "Chuck"; children, James Lee Nix of Loveland, CO, Kristin Ann Miller of Alpine, WY and Stephanie Swanson of Thornton, CO; and ten grandchildren.
