Obituary
Nancy Jo Chaney, 57, of Sterling, passed away Aug. 17, 2013, in Sterling. Per Nancy's request, cremation and private family inurnment will be held.
Nancy was born Oct. 14, 1955, in Denver to Russell H. Chaney and Carolyn M. Dayton Walters Chaney. She graduated from Sterling High School.
Nancy worked at Northwest Transport for several years.
She enjoyed crafts of all kinds, crocheting, beading, decoupage. She loved gardening and all her animals throughout the years.
Nancy is survived by her father, Russ Chaney of Sterling; daughter, Tara Tennant and Christopher Rangel and granddaughters, Skylar and Terra of Arvada; sister, Barbara Kelley and Richard Taylor of Sterling; nephews, Shane Kelley of Broomfield and his daughters, Shaela Kelley and son Noah Ramey of Sterling and Shelby Kelley of Broomfield, Andy Chaney and wife Anna and their children, Rebecka and Russ of Canon City, Aaron Munn and Stacey Evans and their children, Tyler and Cody Munn of North Las Vegas, Nev., and Stanley Chaney of North Las Vegas, Nev.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Chaney in 2004; brother, Stan Chaney in 1982; brother, Russ Chaney in 2010; grandparents, Richard and Caroline Walters and Russ and Amelia Chaney.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
