Mildred Louise Felzien, 95, of Sterling, died Feb. 23, 2008, in Sterling. Private services will be held. The Rev. James R. Nash will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Felzien was born Jan. 19, 1913, to William and Mary (Nobis) Dunker in Pleasant Dale, Neb. She graduated from high school.
She married Marvin O. Felzien in April 1937. They made their home in the Kelly area and later lived in Sterling.
Mrs. Felzien is survived by her daughter, Sharon Davis and husband Dean of Lantana, Texas; son, Gary Felzien and wife Gail of Sterling; 10 grandchildren, Kevin and wife Diana, Kent and wife Abby, Kara and husband Rob, Maret and husband Ned, Joel, Debbie and husband Mark, Deanna and husband Mike, Cory, Sarah and Molly; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin Felzien on July 8, 2007; son, Roger Felzien; three brothers and four sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the NJC Nursing Program.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
