Mikel Haynes (Courtesy photo)Mikel "Tony" Haynes, 47, of Sterling, passed away Dec. 5, 2012, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Chaney-Reager, with Pastor Dan Garainier officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Tony was born June 26, 1965, in Denver, to William Fredrich and Donna I. (Carty) Haynes. He graduated from high school. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was a handyman, enjoying carpentry work.
Tony was a member of Harvest Farms Church in Wellington. He enjoyed drawing, poetry and music.
He moved to Sterling from Oregon six years ago.
Tony is survived by his mother, Donna Haynes of Sterling; daughter, Mariah Haynes of Sterling; sisters, Cathey Naugle of Sterling and husband Rich, Nancy Wisniewski of Washington; nieces and nephews, Jonny, Kassie, Amanda, Tiffany, Carrie and Bobbi.
He was a loving son, father, brother and uncle. He will always be loved and missed.
