Michael Scott Hergenreter, 53 of Sterling, CO went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, December 8 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Cole officiating. The service will conclude at the chapel.

Michael was born in Sterling, CO on April 9, 1965 to Joseph and Billie Darlene (Peters) Hergenreter. The family moved from Sterling to North Pole, Alaska in 1976 to 1979 and then moved to Arizona. He graduated from Santa Rita High School in Tucson, AZ in 1983. He attended college at Pima College and received a degree as an X-Ray technician. In 2003, Michael returned to Sterling and pursued his passion as a window tinter.

Michael is survived by his mother Billie Darlene Nott; father Joseph Hergenreter; daughter Michaela Hergenreter; son Michael Hergenreter, Jr.; brother Rodney Hergenreter and sister, Debra Lazzaretti and husband Pete; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
