Obituary
Michael Phillip Craddock Michael Phillip Craddock, 56, of Sterling, died Oct. 13, 2011, in Sterling. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. Susan Barton officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Craddock was born Jan. 28, 1955, in Denver, to Davis C. and Janet E. (Carrell) Craddock. He attended school in California, Florida, Missouri and Sterling, graduating from Sterling High School. He continued his education at NJC for two years.
He worked for Jarvis Construction, as well as in the oil field and for his dad in the roofing business.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Craddock of Sterling; sisters, Arlo Murphy of Kerrville, Texas, and Melissa Craddock of Sterling; special friend, Cassandra Smith of Sterling; nieces, Katie Murphy and Tricia Jones; great-niece, Madison Murphy; and great-nephew, Jackson Jones.
Mr. Craddock was preceded in death by his father, Davis "Red" Craddock; and brother-in-law, Leonard Murphy.
