Maxine "Louise" Kane, 74, of Sterling, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 10, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday June, 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church located at 302 N 8th Ave in Sterling.

Louise was born on April 14,1948 to Donald H. and Dorothy M. (Gooding) Jackson in Longmont, Colorado. During her childhood her mother ran Maxine's restaurant and truck stop located in Greeley. She married John E Miracle when she was 16 and gave birth to four children: David Miracle, John Miracle, Viola "Marie" (Miracle) Axtell, and Evelyn Miracle. After they divorced, she met Dave Kane and they married later, going on to have another son, Lonny Kane.

While raising their children, Louise taught herself how to do several things, including cake decorating, sewing, and hair styling. When she had an empty nest, she decided to travel as an over-the-road truck driver with her husband Dave. She enjoyed spending time with her family when they were home and many people were amazed at the love they shared, even with how much time they spent together.

After many years, they bought their home in Sterling where she worked driving for County Express Transportation for another 13 years making many close friends along the way, some being regarded more as family.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Donald, brother Leland Jackson, husband Dave, daughter Evelyn, son-in-law Dale, grandson Michael, and great-granddaughters Amaiya and Aubrey.

She is survived by four of her children: David and spouse Tammy, John and spouse Sherald, Marie, and Lonny and spouse Heather, 8 grandchildren: Mike and spouse Misty Norton, Joe and spouse Cynthia Miracle, Amber Miracle and significant other Cody Norton, Rhiannon and spouse Travis Hinton, Angela and spouse Nathan Hayes, Annie and spouse Jackson Abney, Daniel and Ella Kane, along with 18 great grandchildren between them all.
