Obituary
Maude Mildred Lowen, 97, of Merino, passed away June 26, 2013, in Brush. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Monday, July 1, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ed Bigler III officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Maude was born Aug. 26, 1915, in Sterling to Knute Martin and Ester Judith (Smith) Knutson. She graduated from Sterling High School.
On April 8, 1950, she married Dave Lowen in Sidney, Neb.
She was a member of the GNI Club. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and love watching the Colorado Rockies play.
Maude is survived by her son, Dennis Lowen of Merino; daughter, Amber Molina of Merino; grandchildren, Auston, Nick, Emily, Christopher; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Julissa, Sarah Maude; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dave Lowen in 1997; three brother and two sisters.
