Matthew J. Barnett/McGraw, 24, of Reno, Nev., and formerly of Sterling, died Nov. 28, 2007, in Reno. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church with Fr. Stephen Reed officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett/McGraw was born May 28, 1983, in Denver to Dennis J. McGraw and Marian Sue (Miller) McGraw. He received his GED. He was an electrician by trade.
On June 30, 2004, he married Tiffany Brake. They later divorced.
He enjoyed watching the Broncos, camping, fishing, going to the mountains and going to monster truck rallies with his daughter, Jenny. He will be remembered as a loving father, son and brother.
Mr. Barnett/McGraw is survived by his mother, Sue Miller of Reno; father, Dennis McGraw of Sidney, Neb.; daughters, Jennifer Sue Barnett of Sacramento, Calif., and Emily Joe Evans of Sterling; sisters, Stefanie Barnett of Sidney, Debra McGraw of Denver, and Jami Thatcher of Sidney; brothers, Christopher Barnett of Sidney, and Nathaniel Thatcher of Denver; his girlfriend, Angela Bissett of Reno; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Maxine Miller, Gerald Miller, Jo Ann McGraw and JW McGraw.
