Obituary
Mary C. Taladay, 86, of Sterling, died Feb. 28, 2010, in Sterling. Visitation will be until 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, March 3, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 4, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
She was born Jan. 31, 1924, in Sterling to Charles E. and Edna (Sayre) Riggs.
Mrs. Taladay worked as a housekeeper.
She married Miles Taladay.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and Royal Neighbors. She enjoyed crocheting and puzzles.
Mrs. Taladay is survived by her brother, Robert Riggs of Sterling, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded Mary C. Taladay in death by her parents; husband, Miles Taladay; two brothers; and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sterling Living Center.
