Mary Louise Wiebers, 84 of Sterling, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation and family to receive friends will be held from 3 - 6 p.m., Tuesday, January 5 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 6 at Christ United Methodist Church with Pastor Kristie Firme officiating. Mary will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mary was born February 7, 1936 in Sterling, Colorado to Earl and Dorothy (Bigg) Smith. Mary married Arthur L. Wiebers in 1954 in Sterling. Mary was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Rebekka Lodge and was a boy scout and cub scout leader. She was honored as a post grad Matriarch of the Rebekka Lodge.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Lee Wiebers, daughter Tamera Wiebers; son Arnold Wiebers; brother Ron Smith; sister Carolyn Smith and by her parents Earl and Dorothy Smith.

Mary is survived by her sons Rodney Wiebers of Sterling, CO and Edward Wiebers of Denver, CO.; daughter-in-law Betty Myers and husband Randy of Ft. Morgan, CO., grandchildren Chris Wiebers of Sterling, CO, Tayna Spates and husband Chad of Greeley, CO., David Wiebers of Sterling, CO and Tyler Wiebers of Lakeside, CA; great-grandson William Wiebers of Sterling, CO; sister Janice Lueschen of Sterling, CO and sister-in-law Sheryl Smith and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
