Jean Brigham, 88 of Sterling, passed away Sun. Mar. 20, 2016 in Sterling. Visitation to be Thurs. Mar. 24 from 2pm until 6pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral service to be Fri., Mar.25 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michelle Witherspoon officiating. Service to conclude at the church. Interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, staging area A, on Mon. Mar.28 at 1:00 pm.

Jean was born March 11, 1928 in Denver, CO to Glenn and Vada G. Hinkley Kesson. She graduated from Manual High School in Denver in 1945. Jean was Valedictorian of her high school class.

She married Howard L. Brigham on June 1, 1947 in Denver. They lived in Denver until 1962 when they moved to Fort Collins. Following Howard's retirement, they moved to Estes Park and then to Sterling in 2001.

Jean was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Jean is survived by her husband Howard L. Brigham of Sterling, sons Jerry H. Brigham and wife Cathy of Broomfield, Randy L. Brigham and wife Terry of Sterling, daughter Kay L. Rich and husband Gary of Sterling, eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
