Martha Stansbury
1908 - 2008

Martha Stansbury, 99, of Sterling, died May 15, 2008, in Sterling. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Stansbury was born Aug. 27, 1908, to Andrew and Elizabeth (Ackerman) Evig in Loveland.
On Sept. 29, 1930, she married Leslie Stansbury in Loveland.
She lived all her life in northeast Colorado. She lived on a farm in the Haxtun area and the rest of her life in the Loveland and Greeley area. She moved to Sterling about one year ago.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She had been a member of the Methodist Church since 1934.
Mrs. Stansbury is survived by her sons, Robert Stansbury and wife Ina of Centennial and James Stansbury and wife Raera of Sterling; one sister, Dorothy Rust of Washington; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in deathy by her husband, Leslie, in 1986; her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
