Obituary
Marlene Phyllis Buss, 82 of Peetz, passed away Mon., Aug. 22, 2016 in Peetz. Graveside memorial service will be 11:00 am, Thurs., Sept. 1, 2016 at the Peetz Cemetery with Rev. Roger Gillming officiating.
Marlene was born June 6, 1934 in Peetz, CO to William Jennings and Edith M. Michelson Waterson. She graduated from high school in El Paso, Texas in 1952.
On June 8, 1952 in El Paso, Texas she married August Earl Buss. They lived in Lovell, Wyoming and Peetz.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Farm Women's Club and was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader thru the years.
Marlene is survived by her husband August Buss of Peetz; daughter Edith Brink and husband Doyle of Padroni; sons Sidney Buss and wife Susan of Peetz, Charles Buss and wife Jolene of Peetz and Jody Buss and wife Terri of Peetz; brother William Waterson and wife Pat of Concord, North Carolina; 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marlene Buss Memorial in care of Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, P.O.Box 1046, Sterling, CO 80751.
