Mark Gregory Bauer

The Lord called Mark Gregory Bauer, age 50, home on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Mark was born September 16, 1975, in Denver, CO and resided in Sterling, CO.

Mark’s funeral will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Halouska Family Chaney-Reager Funeral Home in Sterling, CO and is open to the public. Those who wish are invited to join Mark’s family for the burial at Riverside Cemetery, followed by a luncheon to celebrate his life at Sterling Berean Church.

Mark is survived by his two sons, Tyler and Toby Bauer; his father and mother, Kenny and Brenda Bauer; his six sisters, Pam Serrato, Jacky Myers, Kelly Lynch, Sherry Carey, Mary Stone, and Michele White; along with 17 nieces and nephews and 26 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mark grew up in Sterling, CO, played football, and was a gifted trumpet player whose music touched many. Mark loved and was passionate about God, his boys, and his large family. He spent much of his life working in technology, a field that reflected his sharp mind and curiosity. Mark loved football season, cheering on the Denver Broncos, and the outdoors and warmth of the sun, with fishing being one of his favorite ways to spend time.
