Mark David Allen, 66, of Padroni, Colorado passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
Mark was born April 21, 1959, to Frank and Marlene Allen of Gering, Nebraska. He graduated from Caliche High School in Iliff, Colorado, and worked for his father's business, FM Communications, a 2-way radio shop. This led him to continue his career in electrical engineering for the State of Colorado in Telecommunications, concluding in early retirement at the age of 49.
Mark was a key member of the band "Out of the Blue." His skill and passion for drumming brought joy to many over the years. Mark could often be found in one of the two garages he meticulously built, where he served as a master mechanic for his true automotive love, the Porsche 911.
Mark's greatest devotion was to his family and continuing on the family name. He was a man with a big heart, centered around helping others. He was deeply proud of his family's legacy, particularly finding fulfillment in his role as a grandfather to four grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marlene, and his brother Michael Allen.
Mark is survived by his two sons: his eldest, Devin Allen, and his fiancée, Rebecca, along with their children, Ellie, Malachi, and Andy; and his youngest, Dillon Allen, and his fiancée, Sara, along with their son, Ethan.
