Mario Lee Campanella, 63 of Aurora, formerly of Fort Morgan, passed away Friday morning, February 17, 2023, at the Parker Adventist Hospital in Aurora, CO. A private service will be held at a later date.

Mario was born October 23, 1959, in Sterling, CO to Emanuele "Campy" and Edith Campanella. Edith passed away at a young age, and Campy was remarried to Joanne Kidney in 1963. At an early age, Mario was diagnosed as developmentally disabled with special needs. After living at the front range for several years, Mario moved back to his parents in Sterling and became a client of ECSDD for many years until last year, where he was relocated to Aurora.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Campy and Edith, stepmother Joanne Campanella, and sister Lena Snyder of Niota, TN.

Mario is survived by his two sisters Mary Ann Campanella of Duluth, MN and Jenny Campanella of Colorado Springs, CO; guardians Bob and Judy Webb of Sterling, CO and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
