Margaret Ann Nunn, 85 passed away to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Sterling, Colorado. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April 21 at the Berean Church in Sterling with Pastor Daniel A. Holsten officiating. Burial will be at the Riverside Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will follow the services at the Berean Church.
Margaret was born June 16, 1932 near Russellville, Kentucky to Forest and Mary Agnes (Young) Audus and she later moved to Louisville, Kentucky as a young child. She met Lendon "Lyn" Nunn and they married on December 7, 1951 and had three children. Their son, Robbie died shortly after birth. Margaret worked at General Electric for many years and raised her children, Sherrie Lynn and Ronald and opened her home to her nephew Christopher. Her hobbies included hospitality, Southern cooking, traveling with Lyn in their RV, reading and spending time with family.
Margaret and Lynn moved to Sterling in 2006 to be close to family and attended the Berean Church. She attended Ladies' Bible studies in Sterling as she had with her sister Betty in Kentucky. She really enjoyed the perspectives of World Missions class that she took part in last year. She liked cats and loved her cat, Liddy.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sons, Ronnie and Robbie; brother Ken and great grandson Liam.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Sherrie Cummings and husband Terry; sister Betty Logsdon; grandchildren, Sarah Schwindt and husband Kyle, Bryce Cummings and Elizabeth Messer and husband Joseph; her beloved great grandchildren Micah, Isaiah, Judah and Josiah Messer and Xavier, Norah, Piper and Lydia Schwindt.
Memorial contributions may be made to showhope.org, Steven and Mary Beth Chapman's ministry to care for the orphans.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.
