Margaret May Dickerson, 98 of Sterling, passed away Sat., Dec. 6, 2014 in Sterling. Private family inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
Margaret was born May 7, 1916 in Willard, CO to Frank and Dora Harris Long. She married Virgil Royce Dickerson. She was a seamstress and loved sewing and going to picnics.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
Margaret is survived by grandchildren Kendall, Pamela, Lynn, K.C. and Marcus; sister-in-law Dolly Long and niece Paula Burton and husband Glenn, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by husband Virgil Dickerson, daughter Janice Doyle, son Dr. Lon Dickerson and grandson Dennis Doyle.
Chaney-Reager Funeral Home handled arrangements.
