Lynda L. McMahon, 80 of Sterling passed away quietly after a six-month struggle on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Sterling Living Center. A celebration of Lynda's life will be held at a later date.

Lynda was born March 30, 1940 in Fort Collins, CO to Ernest J. Smith and Dorothy Irene (Dow) Smith. She worked many years as a legal secretary for the District Attorney's office.

Lynda was a mother, friend and grandmother who fiercely loved her grandchildren; Niki McMahon, Aaron Korbitz, Jennifer McMahon, Kyle Werch, Sydney Werch, and youngest Clifford Farrington; great grandchildren Alissa and Dawson and Malorie and Dominic. If she were here, she would be insisting that she didn't have a favorite grandchild, somehow though she always had a way to make them each feel as if she did.

Lynda is survived by 3 her children Kent McMahon, Scott McMahon, and Kathleen McMahon and a fairly large handful of other family members and friends.

Lynda will be missed. Rest In Sweet Peace and goodbye Mother, Grandmother, and Friend….
