Lydia Eveline Walz, 93 passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Sterling, CO.  She lovingly passed and was reunited with her parents and all her siblings.  A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. James R. Nash officiating.

Lydia was born in Crook, CO on July 18, 1928, to John Walz & Anna Marie Walz (Bott).  Lydia was the 6 ^th child of the 9 children were born to John & Anna Marie Walz.  Lydia was the first recorded baptism at the German Congregational Church in Crook, CO on August 19, 1928.

Lydia was a bookkeeper and worked in the office at Stickney's in Sterling, CO for several years.  After working at Stickney's, she was a bookkeeper for 3 years at Trinidad/Benham in Sterling for 3 years.

Lydia was preceded in death by her parents John & Anna Marie Walz, her 4 brothers (Richard, Henry, Harold & Harry Lee), along with her 4 sisters (Pauline, Mary, Esther, & Shirley). She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, and extended family as well as her friends.
