Lucy had many interests. Some of them were cooking, cleaning, gardening, and spending time with those she loved. Her greatest love in life was her family. She spent countless hours in prayer for her husband, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lucy is known for sending cards to others during times of joy and sorrow.
Lucy is survived by her husband, Eugene Stumpf of Sterling; son, Doug Stumpf and wife Shelly of Sterling; daughter, Donna Whitmore of Goodland, Kan.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Eisenach of Sterling and Frieda Staley of Fort Morgan; and one brother, Harry Schuppe of Sterling.
