Lowell W. Knudson, 71 of Sterling, passed away Mon. March 31, 2014 in Greeley. Visitation Thurs. April 3, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Fri., April 4, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home.

Lowell was born July 26, 1942 in Sterling, CO to Clifford C. and Helen M. Cockriel Knudson. He married Bonnie Willmon on April 25, 1964 in Brighton, CO.

He was a member of the Baptist Church. He owned and operated Sterling Pumping Units and loved to work and design oil field pumping units for over 50 years.

Lowell is survived by daughters Dianna J. Willmon of Sterling and Jitana K. Schaefer of Pensacola, FL; sister Marletha Long-Webb and husband John of Frisco, TX; brother Robert Knudson and wife Carrie, Sterling and sister Kathy Nelson and husband Gary, Minneapolis, Minn; his dog Charlie; and three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents and wife Bonnie Knudson.
