Lloyd Eugene Bowker, 73 of Sterling passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Greeley, CO. Visitation will be 5 pm – 7 pm Tuesday, October 9 ^th at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6 pm – 7 pm.  A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, October 10 ^th at the cemetery in Big Springs, Nebraska.

Lloyd was born January 2, 1945 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Lloyd Richard and Rosetta (Smith) Bowker. He loved farming, fishing and hunting.

Lloyd is survived by his wife, Marsha Swanger; children, Dennis J. Bowker and wife Pat of Lacy, WA, Lloyd E. "Gene" Bowker II and wife Becca of Gainesville, GA, and Heather R. Rohm and husband Derek of Sidney, NE; sisters, Shirley Smothermon and husband James of Tacoma, WA, and Margie Freeman and husband Louie of Chappell, NE; brothers, Richard Bowker and wife Mary and Robert "Bobby" Bowker both of North Platte, NE; twelve grandchildren; six great grand-children; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Shaerry L Whitting; and sister, Karen Fisher.
