Linda K. Wienke

Linda K. Wienke, 63, of Stoneham, was called home to our Lord on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, in Stoneham. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Meadows officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
Linda was born March 28, 1944, to Kenneth A. and Mildred F. (Brown) Coons in Niles, Mich. She attended school in Niles, Mich., and Tavares, Fla.
She married Warren Wienke on Jan. 15, 1965, in Niles, Mich. She gave birth to four beautiful children.
Although Linda had four growing children, she always worked diligently for a better life for them and their father. Her skills were quite varied and she mastered jobs from courthouse microfilming and high end sales, and to being known as the best cook on the eastern plains of Colorado. She had many talents as an artist, writer and homemaker. She passed these skills on to her children.
Linda is survived by her husband, Warren Wienke of Stoneham; daughters, Tammy Johnston and husband Brian of Wyoming, Mich., Sandra Madsen and husband Dallas of Wray, and Penny Lewis of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; son, Kenneth Wienke and wife Kelli of Greeley; beloved sister, Patricia Bishop of Niles, Mich., whom she was very close to; nieces, Terry Merica, Kim Arnold, Tracy Kroll, and Kelly Bishop; and grandchildren, Dale Johnston, Kinsey Madsen, Jessica Lewis, Bailey Lewis, and Kurt and Kory Wienke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Mildred Coons; and sister, Marilyn Gillispie.
