Linda M. Dennis, 58, of Sterling, died Sept. 26, 2009, in Greeley. Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 5, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m., at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary Meadows will officiate. Interment was at Willard Cemetery.

Ms. Dennis was born Feb. 1, 1951, to Wilbur Edwin Dennis Sr. and Ellen Marie (Pedersen) Dennis in Sterling. She attended schools in Snyder and Brush, and graduated from Sterling High School in 1970. She received her Certified Nurse Aide certificate from NJC.

She worked parttime at Devonshire Acres and Sterling Living Center. She also worked on the family farm.

Ms. Dennis is survived by her brothers, Marvin Dennis of Sterling and Wilbur Dennis Jr. of Fort Morgan; sisters, Mary Mills of Newcastle, Wyo., and Anna DeJong of Yankton, S.D.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Ellen Dennis, Sr.; two brothers and three sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
