Linda L. Basford Wisdom, 69, of Sterling, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, at Peace Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Eugene Zeller officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Linda was born March 8, 1939, to Wilford and Alice (Hansen) Doonan in Harlan, Iowa. She graduated from Irwin High School in 1957.
She moved from Iowa in 1960. She was office manager of Quality Equipment.
Linda was a member of Akron Drove No. 260 Patriotic Order of the Does. She was active at the Heritage Center and enjoyed dancing. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by the love of her life, Grady Robinson; daughter, Rhonda Smith of Sterling; sons, Randy Basford and wife Kim of Sterling and Ron Basford of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Genevieve Wede and husband Al of Atlantic, Iowa; grandchildren, Shane Basford and Savannah Basford of Sterling; and niece and nephews, Nancy Templeman, Rod Wede and Scott Wede.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
