Lester R. Mullins Sr., 83 of Sterling, CO passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. No services will be held at this time.

Lester was born January 23, 1939, in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Henry Elijah Louie Mullins and Hazel Marie (Jones) Mullins.

Lester served in the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed building things out of wood; he used wooden dowels to build bird houses, trucks, windmills, and airplanes and gave them away to his family and friends. He also enjoyed working on cars with his brothers and riding motorcycles with his family. Lester loved camping and spending time with his family, and he especially loved his Dr. Peppers and Butterfingers.

He was preceded in death by his son Leslie Vaughn Mullins; his siblings Maurice Mullins, Eva Mae Mullins, Leon Mullins, Darryl Mullins, Pharis Mullins, Ronnie Mullins and Doug Mullins.

Lester is survived by his 3 children, Lester Ray Mullins Jr., Janet Wyvetta Mullins and Janlene Doris Mullins and his siblings Johnny Mullins, Francis Mullins, Homer Mullins, Norman Mullins, and Sharon Kay Mullins; grandchildren Louis, Christa, Aaron, Sarah, Alisa and Marcus Mullins along with13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
