Leslie Albert Browner, 79, of Sterling, died Dec. 1, 2007, in Loveland. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Browner was born Nov. 10, 1928, in Sterling to Walter and Mabel Wilhelmina (Suckey) Browner. He graduated from Sterling High School in 1945, and farmed in the area.
He married Ruth Van Driel on April 14, 1953, in Sterling.
Mr. Browner is survived by his wife, Ruth Browner of Sterling; sons, Gary Browner and wife Sandy, and Gordon Browner and wife Nancy, all of Sterling, and Nick Browner and wife Stephanie of Denver; daughters, J.B. Johnson and husband Jay of Round Rock, Texas, Julie Rhea and husband Bradford of Merino, and Janet Thrasher and husband Phil of Loveland; sisters, Ruth Scott and husband Ronald of Excelsior Springs, Mo., and Thelma Davis of Sterling; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Leslie Browner Memorial Fund.
