Larry David Rutledge, 80 of Fleming, CO entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 24, 2024. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 1, at the Berean Bible Church in Haxtun with Pastor Don Larreau officiating. Larry will be laid to rest with military honors at the Fleming Cemetery.

Larry was born November 14, 1943, in Auburn, Nebraska to Carroll Carson and Cora Merle (Hutchinson) Rutledge. Larry enlisted in the U.S. Army at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO and was honorably discharged on April 24, 1965. He married Carolyn Sue Henderson on December 28, 1971, in Loveland, CO. Larry worked as an engineer at Lockheed Martin for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Norma Jean Hoff and brother John Carroll Rutledge.

Larry is survived by his wife Carolyn; daughters Barbara Holsapfel, Carrie (Greg) Zimmerman and Catherine Castillo and grandchildren Cora (Karma), Triston, Dawna, Katie, Lincoln, Dane, Trinity, and Lexanna.
