Obituary
Larry J. Metcalf, 77 of Sterling, passed away Thurs., Jan. 21, 2016 in Sterling. Memorial service will be Fri., Feb. 5, at 2:00 pm at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with services concluding at the funeral home.
Larry was born Feb. 18, 1938 in Julesburg, CO to Elijah J. and Vivian O. Clevenger Metcalf. He served in the United States Army.
Larry is survived by sons Shawn W. Metcalf of Sterling and Patrick G. Metcalf and wife Kara of Chappell, NE; daughters Alene Lambert of Sterling and Melissa Pelton of Denver; 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives Hazel and Ulah, sons Larry Michael Metcalf and David Troy Metcalf, sisters Oletta, Barbara and Connie.
