Kenneth H. Wohlers, 74 of Sterling passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Sterling Living Center. A memorial service will held at 10:30 am, Thursday, May 10 at the First Christian Church with Pastor Lew Champ officiating. Inurnment will be held at Riverside Cemetery.

Kenny was born April 29, 1944 in Kearney, Nebraska to Fred Henry Wohlers and Ethel Alberta Deakins. The family moved to Sterling when Kenny was 10 years old. He married Carole Hounshell on July 25, 1964 at the First Christian Church in Sterling, CO. Kenny worked at Platte Valley Freightways and HVH Transportation as a manager for many years. He was a longtime member of the First Christian Church and BPOE Lodge 1336 in Sterling. Kenny was an avid golfer and loved restoring cars. He also served in the National Guard.

Kenny is survived by his wife Carole; children, Rick (Darii) Wohlers of Woodbury, MN and Jenni (Bob) Pyle of Clarkston, MI; grandchildren, McKenna, Colin and Carolyn Wohlers of Woodbury, MN and Tyler Pyle of Westminster, CO.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lyle Wohlers.
