Kenneth Fredrick Kroeger, 78 a lifetime area resident passed away peacefully Monday, November 12, 2018 at Devonshire Acres. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:30 p.m., Monday, November 19 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Matuska officiating the funeral. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Kenneth was born December 17, 1939 in Sterling, Colorado to Walter and Clara (Rocker) Kroeger. Kenneth joined the U.S. Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged from service in 1961. He obtained his GED from the Air Force in 1959. Kenneth married Betty Ruth Hulslander May 22, 1970 in Northglenn, CO. He worked at NJC and Farr Better Feeds.

Kenneth was a longtime member of the Sterling Lodge #2602 Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed painting and art.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty in 2013; brothers, Homer, Dale, Mervin, Glenn and Lowell.

Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Berry T. Kroeger and wife Heather of Greeley, CO and Rev. Brian K. Kroeger and wife Rachel of Peetz, CO; sister Charlotte Baca of Albuquerque, NM and grandson Oliver Kroeger of Peetz, CO.
