Kenneth L. Gray
June 18, 1932 - Feb. 9, 2008
Kenneth L. Gray, 75, of Sterling, died Feb. 9, 2008, in Omaha, Neb. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. Michael Young officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with military rites performed by VFW Post No. 3451.
Mr. Gray was born June 18, 1932, to Fred and Velona (Daniels) Gray in Iliff. He attended school in Sterling.
On Jan. 15, 1952, he entered the U.S. Navy. He and was discharged Jan. 14, 1960.
He married Margaret Gray in 1967; they later divorced.
Mr. Gray is survived by his daughters, Pam Uehran and husband Rob of Windsor, Penny Stutzman and husband Barry of Lincoln, Neb., and Paula Hadeen and husband Wayne of Glenrock, Wyo.; son, Kenneth Gray Jr. of Lincoln, Neb.; sister, Violet Gray of Sterling; brothers, Virgil Gray and wife Rosemary of Atwood, Calvin Gray and wife Edith of Denver, and Fred Gray Jr. and wife Evelyn of McCook, Neb.; and eight grandchildren, Josh, Heather, Kail, Laneisha, Alicia, Olivia, Ridge and Graysen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Velona Gray; brothers, Cliff and Melvin; and sisters, Lucille and Velma.
