Kay Jeanine DuBois, 74 of Sterling, passed away Sat., July 4, 2015 in Sterling. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Kay was born Dec. 30, 1940 in Oklahoma City, OK to James and Geraldine Zimmerman Blackmon. She graduated from high school and continued her education for two more years. Kay married Dick A. DuBois on July 16, 1977 in Sterling, CO.
She worked for many years for Logan County Human Services as a a caseworker. Kay was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved helping people and touching their lives.
Kay is survived by her husband Dick DuBois of Sterling; her children Donna "Lori" DuBois of Sterling, J.K. Ingalls and wife Christina of Greeley, Michael DuBois of Sterling and Paula Bjerke of Sterling; her brother Michael Blackmon and wife Judy of Omaha, NE; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
