We are sad to announce the passing of Kathleen Patricia Werner, 65, on July 2, 2023. She died from natural causes. She was a fighter all the way through the end. Her courage and strength are characteristics admired by all.

Kathleen is survived by her father; Marvin Murray, her four children; Shaine Wieber, Adam Wieber, Dakota Werner, Mariah Werner, her four grandchildren; Isaiah Wieber, Alivea Wieber, Arianna Wieber, and Noah Wieber, and her four siblings; Cliff Murray, Marvin Murray Jr., Kenneth Murray, and Sharon Murray.  Kathleen is predeceased by her mother Frances Murray and her brother Kevin Murray.

Kathleen was born in Denver, CO on June 5, 1958. She grew up in the mountainside of Denver and has lived in various places in and around Colorado; her favorite being cabins in the mountains of Colorado & Idaho.

She enjoyed mother nature to its fullest. Not a summer would go by where she didn't adventure. Some of her best memories are camping all around Colorado in her van. Kathleen loved reading, crafting, gardening, yarning, camping, and fishing. She enjoyed watching the hawks; now she will be soaring among them.

A memorial will be held on July 12, 2023, at 10 A.M. at Prewitt Reservoir.
