Julie Lynn Williams, 51, of Sterling, died Dec. 23, 2009, in Washington County. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dale Wesley officiating. Services will conclude at the funeral home.

She was born Aug. 26, 1958, to Walter and Anna (Hubbs) Adams in St. Joseph, Mo. She moved with her family from St. Joseph to Sterling in 1965. She graduated from high school.

On May 2, 1975, she married Dallas Williams in Sterling.
Mrs. Williams worked for Wal-Mart as a claims manager.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Dallas Williams of Sterling; mother, Anna Adams of Sterling; daughters, Amy Mahaffey and husband Patrick of Sterling and April Williams of Sterling; son, Matthew Williams of Oklahoma City; sisters, Cathy Costello of Randolph, Iowa, Diane Alber of Merino; brothers, Jody Adams of Omaha, Neb., Rod Adams of Omaha; mother-in-law, Louise Williams of Sterling; grandchildren, Skyler Williams, Alex Mahaffey, Akayla Mahaffey, Brendon Ransdell, and Daniel and Dakota Williams.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Adams.
