Julia Kloberdanz, 95 of Sterling, Colorado passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Devonshire Acres. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 4, at Riverside Cemetery followed by a celebration of Julia's life at 11:30 a.m. at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home with Reverend Brian Witherspoon officiating.

Julia was born May 26, 1927, to John and Katherine (Koch) Amen of then Logan Colorado. Julia attended school in Merino and graduated from Merino High School in 1935.  She married Fulton Gabriel Kloberdanz on June 16, 1944, in Sterling, Colorado and they settled on the farm for a life together. She was a lifetime member of Zion Congregational Church, and she enjoyed cooking, tending to her flowers and garden, and taking care of her cats.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fulton Kloberdanz.

Julia is survived by her son Duane Kloberdanz; three granddaughters Brenda Kloberdanz, Barbara Kloberdanz and Koda Claunch; one grandson Keenan; sister Joyce Rossen, dear friends Rich (Pat) Kloberdanz and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
