Julia W. Everett, 77 of Sterling passed away Wed., Jan. 28, 2015 in Sterling. Memorial service will be 2:00 pm Mon., Feb. 2, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with services concluding at the funeral home. Reception will follow service at 432 Kochia Way in Sterling. Inurnment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at a later date.
Julia was born June 30, 1937 in Wilmington, Delaware to Charles Colbert and Marguerite Brulatour Wood. She graduated from Krawen High School in Newark, Delaware in 1955.
She moved from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Sterling in 1996. She was a member of the Sterling Foursquare Church. Julia liked to play bingo. Julia worked at Lovelace Hospital in Albuquerque and Logan County Hospital as a record keeper for forty years.
Julia is survived by daughters Leslie Everett and Lucas Alaniz, and Kim Everett; son Charles Everett and wife Lori; Sister Bobbi Wood and seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Everett in 1993.
