Judith Lea (Chandler) Lindsey, 69 of New Raymer, CO passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. Cremation will take place and no services will be held.
Judith was born December 6, 1953, in Denver, CO to William Chandler and Viola Mae (Kingham) Chandler. She completed the 9 th grade in Walden, Colorado. Judith met the love of her life, Aaron "Butch" Curtis Lindsey and after two months of dating, they were married on February 9, 1969, in Walden, Colorado. A whirlwind love to Butch lasted for a marriage of almost 54 years. She was a cook and bus driver in Johnstown, Colorado for School District RE-5J for about 6 years. She then stayed home and took care of her family, which she enjoyed doing.
Judith loved to read every night before going to bed. She also enjoyed cooking a wonderful meal for her family, but most of all she loved talking and spending time with her boys.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Viola Mae Chandler; brother Paul Chandler and sisters Alberta (Chandler) Gutierez and Debbie (Chandler) Lopez, and her son Aaron Curtis Lindsey Jr.
Judith is survived by her husband Aaron Curtis Lindsey of New Raymer, CO; sister Rose (Dennis) Drieth of Milliken, CO; brother Louise (Val) Chandler of Ft. Collins, CO; children Curtis Lee (Mellissa) Lindsey of Sterling, CO, Billy Joe (Christine) Lindsey of Ft. Collins, CO and David Wayne Lindsey of New Raymer, CO and grandchildren Luke Lindsey of New Raymer, CO, Curtis Lee Lindsey, Jr of Thornton, CO, Laura Jean Lindsey of Thornton, CO, James Lindsey of Fort Collins, CO, Racheal Lindsey of Fort Collins, CO, Drake Lindsey of Fort Collins, CO, Iris Lindsey of Centennial, WY, and Atom Lindsey of New Raymer, CO.
