Joseph Charles Dittler, 73, of Sterling, died March 5, 2007, in Sterling.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Dittler was born July 28, 1933, in Padroni to Folten and Kathryne (Schadegg) Dittler. He attended area schools.
On Aug. 11, 1957, he married Mary Ann Pfalzgraff in Sterling. He was a lifetime resident of the area, where he was a jack-of-all-trades. He farmed, drove truck, worked in the oil fields and at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dittler is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dittler of Sterling; two sons, Kenneth Lee Dittler and wife Mary of Sterling, and Kurt Douglas Dittler of Sterling; four daughters, Karen Ann King and Bernie of Sterling, Kathleen Ann Payne and husband Rick of Ovid, Karla Jo Dittler and husband Todd of Sterling, and Kari Lynn Moreno and Kelly of Sterling; a brother, Robert Dittler of Denver; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death his parents, four sisters and three brothers-in-law.
