Johanna Lawrie, 84, of Sterling, formerly of Merino, died May 7, 2007, in Sterling.
Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 10 at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. that day at Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Joyce DeToni-Hill officiating.
Mrs. Lawrie was born May 25, 1922, to Mr. and Mrs. Schwarz in Germany. She graduated from high school.
On March 17, 1959, she married Myron A. Lawrie in Arvada. They had a vegetable farm while living in Merino. She also worked at Hesteds for a few years.
She was a member of the Merino United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Lawrie is survived by nieces living in Germany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Myron, on March 26, 1998; and her sisters.
