Joel Adam Bowers Joel Adam Bowers, 37, of Sterling, died July 1, 2010, in Aurora. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Chaney-Reager, with the Rev. David Tyree officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Bowers was born May 20, 1973, in Denver to Dennis L. and Sandra L. (Diel) Bowers.
He worked at Village Inn.
He enjoyed fishing, cooking and sitting around the fire pit.
Mr. Bowers is survived by his mother, Sandra L. Bowers; father, Dennis L. Bowers; grandmother, Rosie Diel of Sterling; uncles, Tim Diel of Sterling and Mike Diel and wife Micki of Sterling; aunts, Pam Cartmill of Platte City, Mo., and Kim Bowers of Kansas City, Mo.; dog, Harley; and cat, Carley.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Diel and Lee and Betty Bowers.
Memorials may be made to the Joel Bowers Memorial Fund.
