Jo Ann Jeanine Pfaltzgraff

Jo Ann Pfaltzgraff, age 97, passed away in Boone, Iowa on Sunday, August 23, 2026, with family surrounding her. She lived in Peetz, Colorado with her daughter, Nita Gillham from 2020 until 2023, when she moved back to her home state of Iowa. Her love for her family and for music developed from teenage years playing the organ for her home church, throughout 8 Iowa pastorates shared with her husband, Paul. Jo Ann gave thousands of piano lessons during her life - a final tutorial being two weeks before her death. While in Colorado, she played the piano for services at Peace Lutheran Church, enjoyed attending Sterling Foursquare, and joined PEO Chapter FS.
