Jerome Allen Werth, 67, of Northglenn, died July 12, 2011, in Louisville. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert L. Wedow officiating. Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 17, 1944, in Sterling to Jerome James and Lucile Margret (Burke) Werth. He attended Lincoln Elementary School and graduated from Sterling High School.
Mr. Werth was a trucking dispatcher for ITL Tank Lines in Denver.
In 1962, he married RoGene Werth in Torrington, Wyo.
He was a lifetime member of Sterling BPO Elks Lodge No. 1336. He was an avid fan of all sports.
Mr. Werth is survived by his wife, RoGene Werth of Northglenn; sister, Carol Scheck and husband Alvin of Sterling; daughter, Laurie Stevenson and husband Gary of Scottsdale, Ariz.; son, James Werth and wife Dania of Jacksonville, Fla.; son, Michael Werth of Thornton; daughter, Jeri Eberle of Tualatin, Ore.; son, Stephen Werth and wife Deborah of Thornton; son, Timothy Werth and wife Hilary of Sterling; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Lucile Werth; and son, Jerome Allen Werth, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
