Jendy Jill Peterson, 66 of Sterling, passed away Mon, Aug. 15, 2016 in Sterling. Visitation will be Fri., Aug. 19 from 9:00am until service time at 11:00am at the Christ United Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Kroeger officiating. Service will conclude at the church. Interment will be Tues., Aug. 23, 2016 at 1:00pm (CTZ) at Pleasanton, NE.

Jendy was born Feb. 21, 1950 to Kenneth Robert and Elsie Grace Unick Peterson in Kearney, NE. She enjoyed her work at the Pizza Hut as a dishwasher for over twenty years. Jendy loved to do crafts, latchhook, word search puzzles, bingo and especially loved her cat "Tinker".

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church.

Jendy is survived by her sister Kenda Stoltenberg of Sterling; sister-in-law Mary Lou Peterson of Durango; nieces Peggy Stoltenberg of Sterling, LeAnn Fisher of Minneapolis, Terri Romero of Denver and Paige Oswald of Denver, several great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and her many friends and caregivers from Eastern Colorado Services for the Developmentally Disabled.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Toby Peterson.
