Obituary
Martin, 84, of Sterling, died Sept. 15, 2009, in Sterling. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Chaney-Reager Funeral Home, with services concluding at the funeral home.
He was born March 21, 1925, to James W. and Bella (Adams) Martin in Belgrade, Neb.
He farmed in the area for many years.
On May 4, 1958, Mr. Martin married Carol E. Klimper in Brighton.
He is survived by his wife, Carol E. Martin of Sterling; daughter, Rhonda Mildenberger and husband Dale of Sterling; son, Terry Martin and wife Nancy of Sterling; sisters, Viola Hasselton of Guernsey, Wyo., and Ellen Renner of Denver; brother, Roland Martin of Hastings, Neb.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Bill and Ed Martin.
