Janet "Jan" Elaine Craddock, 78 of Sterling, passed away Thurs., March 3, 2016. Memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church at 10:00 am on Wed., March 9, 2016 with Pastor Lew Champ officiating. Service will conclude at the church.
Jan was born in Tucson, Arizona and moved to Sterling in 1972. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working at the Sterling Public Library for 27 years until her retirement.
Jan was also very creative and took great delight for 30 years in writing and directing plays for the Elks Club.
She had a great sense of humor but her greatest joy was for her family and she will be deeply missed.
Jan was married to Davis "Red" Craddock for 54 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son, Michael.
Mrs. Craddock is survived by her two daughters Melissa Craddock of Sterling, Arlo Murphy and husband Rolland of Texas; two granddaughters, Katie Murphy and Tricia Jones and husband Leonard; five great grandchildren Madison, Jackson, Bryar, Allie and Bailee; nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends.
